FAQ
-
I recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance, especially for busy seasons. But if you're last minute, reach out — I might surprise you.
-
Your session fee includes the session, a pre-session consultation, professional styling support, and a $500 print credit to apply toward your custom artwork.
-
Yes! I’m based in Danville, VA, but I travel all over Virginia and beyond. Whether it’s a mountaintop, beach, or bustling city block — I’m game if it tells your story.
-
Yes — digital files are available à la carte and included with many of my products. Framed wall art, albums, and canvases come with matching digitals so you can enjoy your images on screen and on your walls.
-
Honestly? Almost every client says that — and every gallery proves otherwise. I’ll guide you every step of the way, from posing to energy. You’ll leave wondering if you just walked out of a magazine shoot. I myself have perused modeling to get experience on the other side of the lens. This has helped me put myself into the clients shoes.
-
Only the best. Think framed fine art prints, gallery canvases, heirloom albums, and custom-designed keepsakes. If it belongs in a museum or on your living room wall — I’ve got it.
-
All sessions come with a $500 print credit, and most clients fall in love with seeing their work in print. However, digitals are always available to purchase individually or as a full gallery.
-
Absolutely. I also specialize in branding, business media, social media content, and weddings. Whether you’re launching a brand or tying the knot, I’ve got you. I also dabble in video work as well!
-
We’ll schedule an in-person image reveal (or a virtual one if needed). You’ll see your fully edited gallery, and I’ll help you design your perfect wall art or collection. No pressure, no overwhelm — just your story, elevated.
-
True-to-color. Cinematic. Editorial without being cold. My work is bold yet honest, sleek but real. I want your images to feel like you, just through an elevated lens.
-
We pivot — with style. I’ll always have a backup plan, whether that means rescheduling or heading into a moody indoor space. Rain can also be gorgeous in the right light, so we’ll decide what feels best for your vision.
Rescheduling is completely free as well!
-
Yes! Pets are family — just give me a heads-up so I can plan accordingly and make sure everyone’s comfortable and camera-ready.
-
Once you book, you’ll get access to a styling guide to help you plan your look. I’ll also help curate outfits that photograph well, match the vibe of your session, and feel true to you — whether it's sleek and modern or flowy and romantic.
-
You’ll see your edited gallery within 2–3 weeks. At your in-person reveal, we’ll review the collection, design any prints or albums, and you’ll leave feeling like your story finally lives somewhere beautiful.
-
Absolutely not. In fact, it’s iconic. Whether you’re graduating, celebrating a milestone, healing, or just want to honor who you are right now — this is a luxury made for you. You don’t need a reason to be seen.
Wedding FAQ
-
Most couples book 9–18 months in advance, especially for spring and fall dates. I recommend reaching out as soon as you have your venue secured — I only take a limited number of weddings each year to provide the highest level of service.
-
Yes! I’m based in Danville, Virginia but I serve all surrounding areas and destinations. Whether you're getting married in the mountains, at the coast, or across the country, I’m there — passport ready.

Yes. My top two packages include an engagement session, and you can always add one to any other package. It’s the perfect way for us to get to know each other before the big day and for you to get comfortable in front of the camera.
-
Absolutely. We’ll start with a consultation, either in person or virtually, usually coffee! (I buy!) to go over your vision and timeline. We’ll stay in touch throughout your planning process and finalize all details before the big day.
-
That depends on your timeline. I’ll help you break down your day to figure out how much time is needed for full coverage — from getting ready to the final dance. Most couples book 8 hours.
-
Yes. My top-tier wedding packages include a second photographer, my wonderful wife! Which allows us to cover more moments, reactions, and angles — especially during ceremonies and cocktail hour.
-
You’ll receive a sneak peek within a week, and your full gallery will be delivered within 4–6 weeks. From there, we’ll schedule your artwork design session if you're building a wedding album or selecting wall art.

My style is true-to-color, emotive, and intentional. I focus on capturing real moments — the joy, the chaos, the tenderness — with a polished, timeless aesthetic that still feels deeply personal.
-
Start by filling out the inquiry form on my Contact Page. From there, we’ll schedule a consultation, go over your needs, lock in your date with a 50% retainer, and then start dreaming.
-
If the playlist slaps? Absolutely. I’m there to document your story, but if the energy’s right and the vibe is electric, don’t be surprised if I’m snapping photos with one hand and grooving with the other.
-
Yes please. While I don’t copy poses, I love getting a feel for your aesthetic. It helps me understand what you love — and from there, I’ll make it my own.
-
Then you’re exactly my kind of people. Most of my clients say that by the end of their session or wedding, they felt like they were just hanging out with a friend. I guide you through every step so you never feel lost or stiff.
-
Every single image you receive is fully edited in my signature, true-to-color style. No batch filters or weird skin blurs — just clean, intentional edits that elevate your natural beauty and emotion.
-
Maybe! It’s happened before!. Especially during handwritten vows or when grandparents hit the dance floor. I may be composed on the outside, but I’m deeply sentimental, and I feel moments as I shoot them.
